    Question PHP Woes

    Halp.

I have a web server that hosts a few php based pages, scripts and the like. I added a new capability to it that was not functioning properly. I made a script to connect to a mysql database. Php-mysql wasn't installed, though. I tried to yum it to no avail, downloaded the packing in a tarball, rpm - no dice on all fronts. I attempted to remove all traces of php from the computer, but failed miserably. Php no longer has functionality but shows as installed. Can't yum update/install it, rpms don't work, nothing.

    Suggestions?

    EDIT:

Error: Missing Dependency: php-common = 5.1.6-3.el4s1.10 is needed by package php-******

Even though php-common shows as installed.
