    TV resolution - clipping

I just install fedora 14 on my new build and everything appears to be working for now.

I'm using HDMI to display to my TV (video and sound are working), but the screen is being clipped. I can't see the menu bars (top and bottom) but i can click on them and part of the left side of a screen is cut off (so i would assume the right side as well).

fyi i'm a noob when it comes to linux.

does any1 know what i can do to fix this clipping?

what brand of graphics card are you using? what is the TV resolution (1080p? 720p? something nonstandard?) What desktop environment are you using (probably gnome or KDE).
New to the internet, technical forums, or the hacker / open source community??

well i'm using the onboard graphics on a Gigabyte H55M-USB3 mobo and my TV is 1080p, fedora 14 64bit

but i figured it, my TV was just scaling the screen wrong, so everything is fine now (at least this topic)
