How to install (rhel5 32 bit) linux in 64 bit AMD Athlon X2 processor,i have already tried no. of times since last 3 month but it doesn't detect hard drive,i have a genuine copy of rhel5.
But when i try rhel6(64 bit) it work well.............
but i dont have rhel5(x86 64 bit) linux
but i need rhel5 because i have a genuine copy of this.............

For redhat it doesnt matter if you run rhel4/5/6 or 32/64bit.
You pay for a subscription, not for a "genuine copy".
Technically it seems, that support for your harddisc controller was added beginning with rhes6.You must always face the curtain with a bow.

32 or 64 bit will have no effect on driver support. Apparently RHEL 6 has a driver for your harddrive controller while RHEL 5 does not. Find out what your controller is, get the driver, and load it during the RHEL 5 install.
