hi
so i just installed fedora 14 on my hp mini 210 1000 netbook and ive been having problems setting up the touchpad. the touchpad is one of the ones where it is all one surface (the buttons are actually part of the touchpad). under windows you can move your finger all around the touchpad and tap to click and if you want to click and drag can fold one finger down on the bottom left of the touchpad and then use another finger to move around. my problem is that i cant get this multitouch feature to work under fedora, all that happens when you touch the pad in 2 places is that the cursor just goes mad, shooting all over the screen.
i have tried to install the appropriate firmware for this touch pad but no such luck.
i remember once seeing some software that allowed you to calibrate your touchpad, (my thoughts were that i could you this software to make fedora think that the bottom of the touchpad was higher than it actually is, so it wouldnt recognise any touches at the bottom).

does anyone know of such a piece of software or have any other suggestions?

thanks
