Fedora Core 2 - Installation Issues

First time on the forum, excuse me if i'm posting this in the wrong area. So with that being said, here's what goes on - right before it gets into the loader, it hangs right before it gets to it, where it says it's going to load it. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hello and welcome to the forums!

Keep in mind that Fedora Core 2 was released almost 7 years ago, so you'll get much better hardware support from a newer release. If there is nothing requiring you to run FC2, I'd recommend going with the latest Fedora release, which is Fedora 14.

You're really better off going with Fedora 13 or 14, at least if your hardware supports them.

I recently went from FC3 to F13 then F14. My FC3 Samba server ran for years, but it was no longer supported and there was simply no point in fighting that losing battle.

Fedora's free anyway. Download F14 and use all of the online documentation resources. You'll save yourself a LOT of headaches.
