    hello

I need some help configuring my ASUS USB-N13 Wireless-N Adapter

I was able to get the drivers installed as per the instructions I found in the forum but I'm not sure how to get the ASUS USB-N13 Wireless-N Adapter to be recognized by the drivers and how to configure it to connect to the Internet

I tried following the instructions it came with but I did not understand the steps to set it up

it was like chinese to me no clue what it said

I would appreciate any help you guys can give me

I am running Redhat Linux 9.0 on the laptop

    Thank you

You're really running Redhat Linux 9? Released in 2003? It's probably hopeless. That's too old. Upgrade to a currently maintained release. If you want to continue with an Enterprise distro, I would move to CentOS or Scientific Linux, both Redhat Enterprise Linux clones.

I should note this particular device still won't work out of the box most likely. It appears to need the rt3070 driver, which is in the staging area of the kernel, ie, not up to the standards necessary to be included in the mainline kernel.

For a current CentOS/RHEL/Scientific Linux, the driver is available from the ELRepo. (Testing only it looks like.)

You would otherwise have to build it yourself. You can get the source code from the ralink site.

This all assumes that's the correct driver. Plug in the device and post the output of
    Code:
    lsusb
    to confirm.
