Compatible Graphics Card
Hi, I have been using Fedora for some time now, and I think its time for me to get a new graphics card. The card I have not is an ATI x700 PRO. It runs off of the proprietary driver, and is currently not supported by any Linux distro unless I get an older one. I was wondering what card would be good for my computer? I am trying to stay in the 50 to 75 dollar range...
My computer Specs are:
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+
2.20 GHz and 2GB RAM
Motherboard: A8AE-LE (AmberineM)
Thanks!

It would be nice to know what kind of video interface your motherboard has, without having to google it.
That being said, although I have read a lot lately where ATI's linux drivers are pretty good, I still prefer Nvidia cards...
Also, I wish I had read this earlier as an online retailer had an 8400GS on sale for $7.99! Well within your budget, I would presume. lol

I'm sorry, the type of video card it uses is PCI-Express.
