    libstdc++ problem

    Hi all,
    I am trying to install a package in the linux machine.
    I am pretty new to linux and hence has few ideas abt the compilation and linking lib.

    When i try to install the package it ends up with an error.

    cannot find /usr/bin/ld:libstdc++
    but it is there in /usr/lib and /usr/lib64.

    Herewith i am sending the details abt the compiler.
    I have Intel c compilers, mpi installed 64bit Red Hat Linux.

    What is the exact error message printed on the screen when compilation fails?
