    [SOLVED] Install software

    Hi,
I want to install Fedora 64 bit to my laptop which has Win xp 32.
Now I want to install a virtual machine on it.

What I need is what kind of software to be selected(Fedora and VM)?
Can you give me a link?

    Thanks.

    Hello and Welcome.
Make sure your machine supports 64 bit first and foremost.
So, this software you are asking about? You want the names of VM software? You want to install a VM on Windows and run Linux under that? Please explain in detail.

Originally I want to install two systems, one is windows, the other is Linux Fedora.
Now I change my idea. I want to install a VM on windows and run Fedora under that. But I don't know the software name because of there are so many, I am confused.

Well, since so many of our members use it, I would suggest virtualbox.

Hello and welcome to the forums!

The latest release of Fedora or any other distribution will usually give you the best hardware support, and I believe Fedora 14 is the most recent release, so I'd recommend going with that, or perhaps Fedora 13.
