    NFS Server problem

My network group forced me to change the ip address of my NFS server. So I do so and made sure the change was carried over to my clients. Now for some weird reason NFS does not seam to function correctly. So far I have been getting around the problem by rebooting the server but I shouldn't have to keep doing this.

When a client logs in there mount points do not mount, after looking at the logs and running verbose I have found that the server is not accepting the mount commands and I'm not sure why. What is even weirder is that the nfs daemon seams to stop working almost randomly.

I know this is not a network issue because I have dropped the firewall, and machines on the same network are also being affected. I have also been able to verify that the processes are running with, "ps aux" and the nfsd shows up. Does any one have any idea what it could be, or where to start troubleshooting the problem?

    Thanks

    Has DNS also been updated?

    NFS server

I made sure that they kept the same hostname in dns. I am able to ssh into the server using the dns name and ip address. So I'm pretty sure dns is not the problem.
