    Basic Mouse and KBD dont work, but a PC remote does...

    Hello
    I have installed Fedora 13 on my system, that went smooth.
    After restart when i see the Licence, User creation screen, my normal MS usb Mouse and a MS Keyboard wont work

    ...:::BUT:::...

    I have a IR remote which i use to control music >>> image attached

    The mouse and kbd on this remote do work.

    WHat might be the reason ?

    How shud i fix it.

    Check for USB configuration in the BIOS. If it is set to something like "Legacy USB", change it, otherwise your system won't work properly with a USB mouse and keyboard, although the fact that the IR/USB pad does work would seem to indicate this isn't the problem. Also, execute the command "lsusb" and post the output here.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
