Need help with caching please
Hey all, i am new here and reasonably new with Linux.. I have just started a small Wireless ISP here in Brasil where i live. I have setup 2 servers both with Centos 5.5. One which is a freeradius server to accept logins, and the other a mail server.
Wha i need to know how to do is the following: I have been told that to make our bandwidth seem like it is more that it actually is, is to have an invisible caching server or something like that. What is this and how can i create one for our current setup?

You will want to take a look at squid as a proxy.

Hi, thanks for the reply.. I can't understand most of what i read up on Squid.. do you know of any good tutorials for me to follow to get this working?
Is there possibly a Squid GUI program? My command line knowledge is basic..
I have got Webmin installed and i see it has something in there to do with Squid, so not sure if i can configure it via Webmin or not?
Thanks

Sorry for the late reply.
I don't use squid so I am not sure of any good tutorials for it.
Webmin should be able to configure it, but like I stated I don't use suid or webmin.
