Hi,

I recently upgraded fc10 with using the fc11 dvd. The update log show all packages wer updated, but I ended up with several rpmnew and rpmsave files and many packages looking as unconfigured.

I know I compare the current config with the rpmsave or rpmnew to find changed and merge manually, but wonder is there is a process to merge them and resolve the conflicts automatically.
The idea is that any conflicts with the old config will take precendence by keeping the old settings and just adding the new ones.

I installed rpmconf, but it requires manual intervention. I am looking for an automated solution.

BTW. I have added the yum-plugin to merge-config, but that will work for future updates.
