    mouse pad not working

    Hello everyone.
I am using fedora 14. Previously my mouse pad was working fine, but I don't why it stopped working now.

This happens only in gnome desktop as a root user, it is fine in other users. Also mouse is working fine in console as a root user. When I enter to gnome, mouse stop working.

I guess my query is clear, if not please ask what was unclear.

And also, I want to use is as a root user. Please don't suggest to run as a normal user

    Thanks

You won't get much help with that in my opinion because not many people run their desktops as root, so we really have no experience with what you are attempting to do. Best thing I can tell you is to check your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file, if you even have one.
