Redhat Linux 5.5 installation error
Hello all,
I have installed VMware on my pc and installing RHEL 5.5, while installing i'm getting the bello error.
there was an error running your transaction for the following reason s insufficiant disk space
you need more space 335m on the following file sysstems on /mnt/sysmanage/usr
could you please let me know how can i resolve this. I have created manually all mount points and allocated space. please note that there is a enough space for all file systems.

On my servers, /usr is about 1GByte, but they are rather stripped.
If you do a full installation, especially with a desktop environment, 3GByte might be too low.
Can you assign more space to /usr?You must always face the curtain with a bow.

I would suggest you to check Linux Filesystem Hierarchy (Section 3.1.3).
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
