Dead FTP upload
Hi all
I've been tearing my hair out since this morning because of this issue. I've installed Red Hat 5.6 Enterprise on one of our IBM blade servers. I also enabled HTTP and vsftp. Everything worked fine, tested the web server and the ftp and both were working good.
Then i restarted the server for some maintenance when this problem started: downloading files from the server is at the normal speed whereas the upload stops after about 200 KB. I used File Zilla as well as Windows command line tool (FTP.exe) both with the same result. I also noticed that File Zilla is issuing RESTART command numerous times after the initial 200 KB are uploaded.
I tested everything, ensured that the vsftp service is started and running. I also googled the issue with no luck.
I can't question the network or the switch as both were working fine yesterday uploading and downloading and nobody changed anything. Even the firewall is disabled. What might be the problem??
