Installing MPlayer For Fedora Core 1

I'm having real trouble installing MPlayer for Fedora Linux. I'm still pretty new at the OS and have managed to get minor software installed, like Yahoo MSGER* but I'm having real trouble with MPlayer. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it, and start from the begining.

    Thanks in Advance

    Follow this Fedora Tip:
    http://voidmain.is-a-geek.net/redhat...must_have.html

    only, use this apt package:

PS: Apt has super cow powers!

    You could try this:

    yum install mplayer

Then yum will take care of everything, like checking dependencies and downloading what's needed. Then type gmplayer to start it. Or type this to download the plugins for mozilla:

    yum install mplayerplug-in
