    Missing libs

Centos 5 with all updates. Installer claims package needs libkdecore.so.5 and libkdeui.so.5. Both those links are in /usr/lib/kde.

Where are the real files ?

Help needed before I ditch Linux completely. Dependencies are an absolute nightmare.

What are you attempting to install - and equally importantly, how did you install it?

I will just say that CentOS 5 is pretty old and if you want to try a more modern version of Red Hat Enterprise, try Scientific Linux 6 which is actually pretty awesome (and that from a Debian guy)

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Try running from a command line (as root): yum --skip-broken update
    Post output here.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
