What is "dbus-daemon"
Hi some times I will leave my computer os Fedora 14 running after a period of time I can hear the hard drive is running really fast and using system monitor I see that a lot of the swap space is being used, the only thing that seems to using a lot of memory is "dbus-daemon"
Clicking on it I get the following.
dbus-daemon
Process ID : 1739
Parent:: init
Parents's ID :1
Number of threads : 2
Command: /bin/dbus-daemon--fork--print-pid5--print-address 7-- session
Any typos mine as I have a screen shot but can not embed
Any help ( in baby steps) most gratefully received

Yes and i to a degree understand the broadcast thing but my main question i guess is why. i have not been using my printer when this occurs my concern is that i have a bug/virus/malware /spambot on my machine and that i am possibly doing damage to others
