I am setting up Block pNFS server following the instruction given in the link http://wiki.linux-nfs.org/wiki/index...rom_the_client ,

In the above link, what is the ctl utility used for starting the server, and where I can get it from? I browsed for it but didn’t get any suitable package.

The *.ctl file is the nfs control file. You need to configure it for your installation, although it is not really necessary to run NFS servers. I don't use one myself, but use NFS extensively on my LAN.
