    Need help on installing firefox 1.0 on red hat 9


    To start I got linux for the first time.
    I am use to using win 98 but would like to switch to linux completely.
    I am having trouble installing firefox on red hat 9. I was worndering where I might find
    detailed instructions on doing this. Thanks for any and all help.

    You will download the tarball so all you have to do is type the command to uncompress the file like this:
    Code:
    tar xzvf firestarter_version.tar.gz
    or just hit the tab key to complete the package name for you. Also you can get the rpm package from http://dag.wieers.com/packages/firefox/
