[SOLVED] Gnash
I was trying to install gnash for my new fedora box, I am newly freed from windows, and I got this message. I looked around on the interwebs. Everyones problem seems to be unique to them and when I try their remedies they don't work. Can someone help me?

Where were you trying to download from?
Were you using yum?
What's with the double quotes at the end of the URL?

re:GNASH
I am downloading from the fedora wiki http(COLON)//fedoraproject(DOT)org/wiki/Flash#Installing_Gnash]Flash - FedoraProject
Yes I was using yum
and the quotes fit with the syntax properly
-> "baseurl = -> 'h*t*t*p://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/14/Everything/i386/os/ -> ' -> ": URL must be http, ftp, file or https not -> " -> "
-> indicate quotes
I am using the exact syntax on the wiki.
I also would like to team gnash up with lightspark and I need a version of shockwave flash.
Thank you for your time.

Is this the site you are using?
Flash - FedoraProject
Are you just doing the commands at the bottom of the page for installing Gnash?
The reason I asked about the double quotes is because it is mentioned in the error message in your first post.

re:GNASH
Yes that is the site I am using.
The error http..blah.. and not "" means that it has to be http blah and not "<blank>" if you look it up some people have ..and not "rsync" or "servername"
Yes I am using those commands, if you know a better way, whether easier or harder, let me know. This comp is for my wife, and I need to run flash, shockwave, and any other software to allow face book, and youtube. Thats all she needs.

That would indicate the gnash-plugin wasn't found so maybe changing repositories??No package gnash-plugin available.
Error: Nothing to do
Don't really know, as I said, I don't use Fedora so I don't know what other options you might have.
