What's the command to install a tar.gz package?

I have to install filezilla, I've got this file
    FileZilla_3.5.0_x86_64-linux-gnu.tar.bz2

Opening it I see all the files and the folders where to put those files, but I guess there is a command to unpack it directly in the correct folders.

Whenever possible, it's generally best to use the default package tool for your distribution when installing packages, but on those times there is no package available in your repositories, installing from source might be the only option. You can check our How To Install Software in Linux HowTo (post #2) for the steps to install software from source:

Also, be sure to read any README files included within the extracted tarball for any special steps required.
