I am looking to download some new fonts, namely Times New Roman for Fedora Core 3. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find some good fonts?...

search http://sourceforge.net for Microsoft Core Fonts Linux.. you should find a tarball with those fonts in it..
Their code will be beautiful, even if their desks are buried in 3 feet of crap. - esr

If you have a Windows system, copy all .ttf files.
First open nautilus(or your home icon).
In it's location bar, type
and press enter.Code:fonts:
Drag and drop all fonts you need in this map.

IIRC, the only legal way to get the Microsoft Core Fonts for Linux is to download them from sourceforge. They are the only ones with a copy left (other than some distro mirrors, maybe.).
