VMware + building kernel modules
hi,
im running fedora 15 x86 32-bit. when i installed it, the kernel version was 2.6.38.7-26.fc15.i686. then i updated its to 2.6.38.7-27.fc15.i686 and again to 2.6.38.7-30.fc15.i686.
the problem is. since i have installed the 32-bit version and using a 4 GB memory. so, when i update it, it also installs the PAE kernel.
now, when i try to build kernel modules for VMware, it searches for the PAE headers (2.6.38.7-30.fc15.i686.PAE) which i couldn't find. i can still build them when i use 2.6.38.7-30.fc15.i686 kernel and it works just fine.
how can i build the vmware kernel modules using PAE kernel headers, so i'll be able to use the whole memory available.
thanks.
