my previous message was finally sent.
The problem I have is the following:
I was trying to connect Fedora from my laptop to the internet and I changed some network settings from the administration option (like deleting old hosts that are not currently in use).
The problem, that I encounter for the first time, is that in the terminal I get: [maria at mariaPC~]$ and whenever I change a directory e.g. bioinformatics the shell also changes as follows : [maria at mariaPC bioinformatics]$ (the same happens when I enter as root). Could someone help me with that?
Furthermore the system has dramatically slowed down until it opens Fedora.
