New User: Flash Player not working
I am a new Linux user and I am trying to get flash player working.
I am using linux red hat with a 64 bit system.
I downloaded the latest flash player.
extracted using tar -zxvf
then copied the libflashplayer.so to the mozilla directory
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins.
After doing this i have rebooted and still the flash is not working.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello and welcome aboard!

Are you sure you didn't download the 32-bit flash player?
If I'm not mistaken, the only 64-bit flash player available currently from Adobe is a test version called "square":
Flash Player | 64-bit operating systemsoz
