    Hello

There are lots of guides that can be found online for installing Nagios on Red Hat. You should be able to find them with a quick google search for install nagios red hat. If you should run into any issues, post back with the details and someone should be able to get you over any hurdles.

I can't help you w/configuring it, but installing it should be straight-forward, with the help of the DAG RPMS in the RPMForge yum repo. Look here to find the release for your distro, and install it (the rpmforge release package).

Then you should just be able to "yum install nagios". There are several other nagios-related packages in the repo, too - "yum list nagios*"

I can't recall if there is alot of guide for redhat, but there is plenty out here for Centos, which are the same instruction for redhat.

    look on community.nagios.org for guides.
