    Arrow cannot open display error

    Hi every body ,
I am posting here after a long time so plz bear with me if i violate certain rules of this forum.
    PROBLEM :
I have two machines both running RHEL 5.5 , one is db10,n the other db11
I am trying to run my X application on db11 from db10.
    db11 is running X server.
I have performed these steps on db11
    root#xhost +
    root#xhost +localhost
    on db10
    export DISPLAY=db11:2.0
then when i issue xclock , i get this cannot open display error.
    I can ping both machines.
any help in this regard will be highly appreciated
    regards !

You are specifying a third xserver display. What happens if you "export DISPLAY=db11:0.0" on db10?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
