    Not effecting

    Dear Fellow

I have deleted the files in the cache folder and even restarted the machine but it had no effect on the browser. It is still showing the same pages i.e. coming from the browser cache

This is Linux, no need to reboot your machine...

    1. it's located in each users home dir as : .mozilla

    2. rm -R .mozilla/default/<Strange code>/Cache

    3. In the users home dir: rm -R .mozilla, this will remove all stored browser stuff. To delete the preferences only: Search for the file: Prefs.js
    under .mozilla/default/<Strange code>/

Word of warning: Backup your Bookmark.html file before deleting it all if you want to save your bookmarks.

Are you running the browser in supervisor mode ? (As user ROOT ?)
