    Install Zip and Unzip

    Hi,

    I am using RHEL 5.4

Currently versions of Zip and Unzip are 2.31 and 5.52 respectively.
I need to be on 3.0 for Zip and 6.0 for Unzip.

Please guide me how do I go about this process?

    Should I upgrade it?
    Should I install them anew?

For your information I have to download the source from Info-ZIP Home Page

    Thanks,
    Rushi

It's best to use your package manager to install them. If the packages you want to install are not in your distro repositories, you can install them from source (post #2 in the following link):

Instructions for installing from source are provided in the link already given to you in my previous post. If you should run into any problems, post back with the details and include any error messages.
