Samba upgrade 3.0.33 - 3.5 complete - win7 follies
Our old windows xp boxs still work as expected, windows 7 domain joins work with the registries;
DWORD DomainCompatibilityMode = 1
DWORD DNSNameResolutionRequired = 0
Some odd things i need help with, first the logon script that samba push's out to xp machines is not working in windows 7.
second, cannot add "Domain Users" or "Domain Admins" to the administrator group. Not that big of a deal since "Domain Admins" are already present, and the work around is to add individual users or created groups. example: group "finance" is found but windows7 cannot find "Domain Users" when adding. "Domain Users" is auto added to the User group.
The last issue, like i said, is not very big and a workaround is available, but for my sanity i like things to just work so...
The priority is getting logon scripts from samba to work on windows 7. Written in Kixtart, and I can manually run the script from the netlogon folder.
