I've been trying to get Fedora 14 recognize my old camera and just does not work.

My camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-F18 and when I connect it via USB to my PC nothing happens. But, making some research, I found that some useful info can be obtained from the file /var/log/messages and the interesting part is this:

it just end printing the line
Code:
usb 5-2: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7
and I have to shut it down.

I've installed gPhoto and it doesn't change anything.

Any idea?

... by the way, my camera doesn't support "Mass Storage" reading mode.
