Question about lack of MIDI sound output on CentOS 5.6 Final
Hi, again!
I posted a little while ago, and forgot to ask this question...
I am using a soundcard on my PC with CentOS 5.6 Final that I KNOW should do MIDI audio output (It worked under Windoze!). However, I can't get the sound to output using CentOS...
I have tried looking into the multimedia setup areas, and have told it to use ALL AVAILABLE options...; the KMid program "seems" to be working, and appears to be "playing" the .mid file ("Canyon.mid" from Windoze is my "test" midi file), but I get NO AUDIO OUTPUT!!!
Of course, My "normal" audio (ie. system sounds, etc.) is working just fine, so this has me a little confused! This card IS MPU-401 compatible, etc. (that is, it is a "normal" PC soundcard!). What am I missing?
Thanks again for any help you may be able to provide in advance...
Yours,
Andre. (Z_Tagr)
