    Bea Weblogic 8.1 installation on Linux 5, possible or not?

    Hi All, I am new to Linux.

    Can I install Weblogic 8.1 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5?

    My requirement is to have jdk 1.4.2 for Maximo Application.

    You can have multiple versions of Java installed on the same system. I have 1.4.2, 1.5, and 1.6 installed on my RHEL 5 and 6 systems. If you only need the jdk, why do you need the full Weblogic stack?
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
