What Do Those Letters Mean?
Hello everyone. I am totally new to Linux. In fact, I am currently taking a class to learn about Fedora. So yesterday, we have our first lab playing around with the live install CD for Fedora 14. Part of the assignment was to view info about the USB devices using the command line '# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices' in the terminal window. Concerning the info that is displayed from this command - What do the letters at the left of each line mean? They are capitalized and followed by a colon (i.e. T:, S:, etc.). I asked my instructor, but he did not know. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to educate a newbie.
