where is the connect to server icon in fedora 15
previously i used fedora 12 and now i am using fedora 15. i found difficult in using connect to server icon. i don't know how to put a shared drive on my desktop. any guide lines please.

Take a look at the gnome shell extensions here. I think maybe you want the one named "placesbookmarks"...

found "connect to" but not working
i found the "connect to server" wizard but it is not working as in f12.it is always telling me that "check your user details" and "unable to connect". i dont know what to do further

Are you trying to attach to a Windows/Samba share?
Make sure you have the required packages installed:
