I am running RHEL 6 (Santiago) on my Dell Precision 390 Intel Core2 6700 at work. It mostly works ok except that gnome-session-save does save the possition of windows within a virtual window, but does not save which virtual windows things belong in. So I end up moving Pidgin to window 4, firefox to window 2, etc every time I login to my machine. Is there any way to get this to save virtual window placements with the internal window placements? I can not find a conf file for this, and none of the logs in .xsession-errors seem relevant. Please let me know what I will need to do, thanks in advance.
