Hi, I was working with mount command and after i did a few changes my terminal window started displaying -bash-4.1# instead of natural text i.e. folder location and machine name...

    Exclamation -bash-4.1# getting displayed instead of normal text in terminal

    Hi,
    I was working with mount command and after i did a few changes my terminal window started displaying

    -bash-4.1#
    instead of natural text i.e. folder location and machine name

    Log out of the terminal and log back in.

    Or source your profile again:

    I have already tried that but that is not helping i mean logging out. Will try sourcing of my profile again. By the way i tried logging in with all the other users but it still was giving the same bash4.1 thing??
