How to use RHEL6 with LCD Projector

Hi All,

I am using my which is installed with RHEL6. But when ever i am connecting to LCD for my classes it is not detecting. I am using Sony VAIO laptop. The Function key combination does't switch to the LCD!!!!

Pls help to solve this problem....

I think maybe you need the sony_acpi or sonypi kernel modules loaded. You may need to download a patched version of one or both of those, or a working one may be in your kernel, not sure. Try loading them:

modprobe sony_acpi
modprobe sonypi

If you can't load them (assuming they're not loaded already), then google around for them...
