Cloning Linux
Hi Guys
Question 1
I have downloaded cloneZilla, I have googled on axact steps on how to clone with cloneZilla, the clonning process took almost the whole night and I was happy, Just to come see in the morning the clone was done, but the hardrv was not at all cloned. Is there any problems with cloneZilla, are there other better cloning Softwares out there? What are the problems associated with cloning?

Hello
I've used Clonezilla and have never had any problems with it, but my personal preference is to use FSArchiver. I've used it hundreds of times on different drives and it has worked perfectly each time, although I do have to restore the MBR separately if I restore to a new drive, or somehow lose or corrupt the MBR on the original drive.
There is also a linux-based version of TrueImage that can be run from a liveCD that works perfectly, but you have to have a paid license to download it.oz
