    Fedora 16 install problem

    Upgraded from 15 to 16 using pre-upgrade. Everything appeared to go smoothly until the initial post-install boot. The boot hung up on "started sysv: late init script for live image". Have not been able to get past this. Am also receiving recurring cache read errors while attempting to repair the install.

    Help! please ...

    Well, FC 16 is the latest bleeding edge release. I hope you backed up your system entirely before you started the upgrade... Even though it is "stable", that doesn't mean that your system won't have problems, and you should probably try installing it from scratch and not do an in-situ upgrade.
