    Dualbooting fedora

So I got the CD all set up, and I partitioned my disk on OSX, is there anything special I need to do before I start to install fedora? Or can I just go through the installer?

I just don't want to get all the way through the installer and find I out I installed it over OSX >.<

Just make sure OSX can still boot and make sure you're absolutely clear about which partition you're installing to. I'm not familiar with OSX so I'm not sure how its boot process works, but Grub should be able to cope with it.

Okay, well I went through the installer, everything seemed to work fine until the end where it said, not exact words: Boot loader was unable to install, Fedora might not be able to boot.

And sure enough, fedora wasn't able to boot.

A problem similar to yours is discussed here, though I don't know that you'll like the solution.
