    Are there certain printer models that are not compatible to linux? Having issues connecting lunix to konica minilta bizhub c20, but managed to connect all to the hp color laserjet 5550.

    Some printers are better supported than others. HP and Epson have really good Linux support, so those are usually recommended for use with Linux.

    Be sure to also check OpenPrinting.org for printer compatibility with Linux. I'm not sure how up to date it is, but there should be some info available to you there that might be good to know. Quite often, the printer manufacturers don't bother to advertise their machines as Linux compatible, but Linux drivers can be found on the CD that came with the printer, or buried deep down into their website.
