I'm pretty sure you will not find Gnome 2 in the repos for Fedora 15, but you can put Gnome 3 into "fallback mode" which will be more like Gnome 2 was, but without some of the features that came with Gnome 2. Some users like Gnome 3 in fallback mode while others don't like it all, but it's probably worth checking it out.

I'm not running Fedora so can't check it to make sure it works, but try this:

System Settings > System Info > Graphics > Forced Fallback Mode

Set it to ON, then log-out and log back in

I wiped Fedora 15 a while back, but that's the way I got it going.

What ozar said about Fallback mode missing some of the Features of Gnome 2 couldn't be more correct. So keep that in mind when you take a look at it.

Not liking Gnome 3 Shell so much, I looked at fallback mode for my own use but didn't like it even as much as I do Shell mode, yet others seem to be just fine with fallback mode. In the end, fallback was a bit too featureless for me.
