    Question If I upgrade to Fedora 15 to 16, will I lose my things?

    I mean like files, settings and such.

    During an upgrade will usually preserve your /home directory, including settings and/or personal tweaks.
    That said, it's always a good idea to make a back-up of anything that you deem important.

    I'll agree with that and add that you should never lose anything if you have a good, working backup on hand. A few minutes of time spent backing up can save you several hours or possibly even days at some point down the road.
