When you say it goes to Grub, do you mean it's booting to the Grub that is already installed on your hard disk?
Assuming that is a yes, then check that the BIOS settings for your bootup. Do a cold-start (i.e. power off, turn on and go to the BIOS page) and check what boot device options are available. If your USB isn't listed, then your BIOS is struggling to see your USB stick.
If the USB stick is recognised correctly, check that it is set as the boot device specifically. You might also want to check that your BIOS allows bootup from USB devices - some (older ones) don't.
If it still refuses to boot it, here are a few of things you could to try:
* Try the memory stick in another computer, see if you can get it to boot at all (you might even be able to try it in a virtual machine if you have this available).
* Try formatting and re-creating the live USB stick using the Fedora tool - something might have gone wrong during the write process that wasn't detected.
* Have you tried burning the live CD ISO image to a real CD and seeing if you can boot from that - it could be that you've ended up with corrupted cd image download.Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/
