create primary partition by resizing LVM partition
hi,
i am providing here some detail before i say my problem. I am using fedora 16 on my system with it default partitioning scheme. now i want to add one more os Win XP with dual boot. i know it will be easier to install win first. but i can't uninstall my fedora due to some reason.
So now to install any new OS i have to create a separate primary partition. so, i reduced the size of one of my logical partition say /home using "lvreduce" in lvm partitions . now here i stuck, first i want to know how to see the space i freed up. and how i proceed further so that when i use "fdisk" to see partition table , i can see there some free space to create a new NTFS partition.
Thanks for any Support !!
