redhat-7.2 Jetdirect printing
Hi guys,
I need your help... I'm using redhat-7.2. My problem is I can't print using my HP1300n... I have tried to configure using Redhat-7.2 Printer Configuration. But it won't works. For your information, my HP1300n using Jetdirect through LAN. Anybody can help me with the confifuration?

How did you configure your printer? Did you follow all the instructions provided by HP as to the configuration?

yap.. everything has been done step by step.. but the problem is i can't find the driver for my HP 1300n... so i have tried with HP 1200 and others from HP, and it still unsuccessfull. Is there is any other way so i can get the driver for my HP 1300n printer? what's your opinion...

You won't like it, but my opinion is to upgrade to a newer distro than redhat 7.2, such as Fedora Core 3, or at least Redhat 9.

Actually im planning to do that. But it will need me to reinstall again all my software. Some of it is very critical to me. If I upgrade to the fedore core, im afraid that my old software that i needed it not compatible with the new distro. Anyway, thanks guys...
