Can I do a full install from a live USB?
Hi I just made a live F16 USB and it works GREAT! on my desktop.
My question is: can I take this USB and do a full install on my laptop?
I used the LiveUsbCreator and chose the desktop(first)option.
Should I choose the KDE option instead and make another USB?
I'd appreciate ANY suggestions.
Thanks.

I don't know specifically about Fedora, but I have used unetbootin to create many live USB keys that I have installed distros from. If it is possible, there is usually an "Install DistroName" option either on the desktop or buried somewhere in a system menu.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

i just launch unetbootin then point it at the iso image of the OS i want to install from USB , from there it formats my usb stick and puts the correct OS on it.
Then just boot your machine off usb and follow the steps.
